Training - Week 4


So we're currently on week 4 of our training programme, which says we must run a total of 30 miles. Unlike a regular marathon there isn't really a proven training programme out there for the MdS, so we're going on a culmination of our previous experience, other peoples training plans and what we can actually fit in around work everything else!

So far we've met our targets but we're covering less than half the distance of whats to come in February but I'm confident that we can eventually get up to 75 miles in a week.
We're also doing individual gym work during the week, with Ben very impressively doing the early mornings and me doing an hour at lunch, every week day with one day being a complete rest day. Tomorrow we are supposed to be running a nice and easy 5.5 miles around our usual loop but there sickness and injury may have already struck! We'll see tomorrow.
